Darksiders II

Players return to post-Apocalyptic Earth in the sequel to 2010's Darksiders, this time as former protagonist War's fellow Horseman of the Apocalypse, Death, the pale rider.
Vigil Games supposedly began working on the sequel just a couple of months after releasing Darksiders, and it is currently scheduled for a 2012 release.
Gameplay
Death's arsenal of weaponry is yet to be revealed but if promotional art is accurate his iconic scythe, named The Harvester, will be the primary weapon of the game, as was the case with War's Chaoseater It was possible for War to obtain the Harvester as a secondary weapon in the original game, but only as a pre-order bonus or through a cheat code. Otherwise, he used a different scythe, and therefore War holding the Harvester is considered non-canon. Death is said to be a much more magic-focused character, and if the magazine cover is to be believed his weapons will have both two-handed and dual wielded forms.
A new more in depth loot system will be replacing the original's more Zelda -like item acquisition system. Dungeons are bigger and more diverse and there will be a much larger number of NPCs to interact with.
The new combat system is much faster and more reliant on offensive agile maneuvers than War's more tank-like reactive combat with the primary focus on Deaths dual Scythes that form a single more powerful weapon at the end of each combo attack. Wrath is once again the 'magic' of the game offering up special attacks and abilities to add variety to combat as well as secondary weapons for changing up combos and reacting to specific enemy types.
The new loot system puts a bigger emphasis on allowing the player to create a version of Death that plays the way they want to with for example items that give more wrath allowing you to be more like a spell caster and weapons designed for melee giving bonuses to regular combat. Stats are now also a big part of the game emphasizing how much more of an rpg Darksiders II is compared to the first game.
Story
Set during the same time period as the original game, Death's ultimate goal in Darksiders II is to restore Humanity; the Apocalypse was meant to occur once the Human race was ready to join either the side of Good or Evil in the End War, tipping the Balance and ending the war between Darksiders and Lightsiders once and for all. However, because the Apocalypse occurred millenia too soon, Humanity was completely wiped out by the demons who rampaged across the Earth. At the same time, Death seeks to keep his brother War protected during his journey to clear his name after he is framed for causing the Apocalypse.
There is an unfounded rumour of human survivor characters making an appearance alongside War and Death's other two companions Strife and Fury. In the first game it was never revealed who set the events in motion that lead to the premature Apocalypse, and in Darksiders II, this will likely be a primary story motivator.
Presumably Samael and Vulgrim, key characters of the first Darksiders, will be making appearances in Darksiders II. Because the sequel covers the time period before his death at the end of the game, it is possible that the Watcher may also make an appearance. It is hoped by fans that Wicked K, the "Gentleman Zombie" who appeared in select locations to fight War, will be returning as well.
A sub-plot in regards to the origins of the four horseman and their once glorious race known as the Nephilim will be a part of Darksiders II as well as further explanation about who The Makers were. There was an official Comic released that focused on the other houseman and it has been hinted many times that they will all appear a lot more in Darksiders II.
Death
Death was designed very differently from War, appearing lean but not emaciated, a distinct contrast to his usual depiction as a cloaked skeleton. His armor is very similar to War's in design, though with Death preferring to forsake any torso or shoulder armor to give him the maximum amount of manoeuvrability - unlike War, Death cannot block, and relies entirely on dodges to avoid injury.
The four horseman themselves are the last remaining members of a race known as the Nephilim, incredibly powerful super-beings with varying forms relatively similar to that of humans. The four were controlled by the neutral faction known as the Charred Council, initially represented as three giant stone faces in the first game. The Nephilim were almost wiped out after they declared war on Heaven; it was believed that the role of the species who would sway the Balance in the End War would go to the Nephilim, who were outraged when instead that destiny was given to the mortal race of Humans. The forces of Light wiped out all but four of the Nephilim in the ensuing war.

Resistance 3

To simply say Resistance 3 is the best Resistance game yet isn't much of a compliment, given that the previous one wasn't very good. Resistance 2 buckled under the weight of a sequel trying to do too much. What we got was a a terribly convoluted storyline, frustrating combat encounters (invisible enemies!) and multiplayer that, aside from the co-op, didn't please anyone. And the lack of a weapon wheel? Inexcusable.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Players assume control of Raiden, protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and supporting character in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Unlike previous titles in the Metal Gear series, Rising will be a fast-paced action game, and creative producer Shigenobu Matsuyama notes that gameplay will focus on two key elements: swordfighting, and a style of stealth that is more fast-paced and action-oriented than in previous titles, which were Tactical Espionage Action games.
A key gameplay feature for the game is titled zan-datsu (cut and take), which involves "cutting" through enemies and "taking" parts from the bodies of dismembered cyborgs and robots. Things which can be taken include life, energy, parts, ammunition, items, and occasionally information. For example, in the E3 2010 trailer, Raiden tears a battery — in the form of a glowing mechanical spine — from a dismembered cyborg enemy, which he then crushes after absorbing energy from it to heal himself.
"Cutting" entails sophisticated swordplay that lets players engage in third person melee combat, as well as precisely slash enemies and objects "at will" along a geometrical plane using a "free slicing" mode. Virtually any object in the game can be cut, including vehicles and enemies, though elements of the environment were intentionally limited to structures such as pillars and walls to better facilitate gameplay. The free slicing mode is similar to other aiming modes in previous Metal Gear Solid titles, but produces a special targeting reticule in the form of a transparent blue plane which can be rotated and moved, tracing orange lines across the surfaces of objects to indicate exactly where they will be cut; it can also be used to enter a bullet time state, giving players the opportunity to precisely slash targets during moments of action, such as slicing through a falling target from multiple angles before it hits the ground. These features can be employed strategically, for example disabling opponents, finding weak points and gaps in armor, severing support columns to collapse ceilings or walls onto enemies, deflecting enemy fire, or cutting through objects to remove enemy cover. This is particularly important when facing cyborgs and robots, as cutting through different areas of their bodies will allow you to take different mechanical parts from within. Although Raiden's main weapon will be his high-frequency blade, he will also have "sub-weapons", Kimura revealed; gameplay footage has briefly shown Raiden wielding a dagger in his left hand.
Rising's stealth elements will emphasize Raiden's considerable speed and agility through what Matsuyama describes as "hunting stealth." Unlike the "waiting stealth" of previous titles, in which players remained hidden and avoided combat, players in Rising will instead quickly stalk their enemies and use acrobatic maneuvers to stay out of sight while closing in. This ties in with the game's zan-datsu feature, allowing them to prey upon enemies to obtain weapons, items, and energy.
Director Mineshi Kimura has stated that Rising would carry on the series tradition of encouraging players to progress through the game without killing, noting that there is a moral difference between attacking cyborgs or robots and attacking human beings, and that there's a "certain virtue to simply disabling your enemies instead of killing them."While it was considered important to give the players freedom to do what they want, Matsuyama has indicated that players will never be rewarded for killing human opponents, and that the game will be designed so that players are never forced to do so.
Good Luck

Assasin's Creed: Revelation

The game will feature all three of the series' major characters so far: Altaïr ibn La-Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles. It will take Ezio to Ottoman Constantinople in 1511 AD, consisting of four districts: Constantin, Beyazid, Imperial, and Galata; Cappadocia at the peak of the Ottoman Empire, part of which will be a completely underground city populated solely by Templars; and Masyaf, which holds the old Assassins' stronghold (featured in the first Assassin's Creed game) to which Ezio travels at the beginning of the game. He discovers Altaïr has sealed within the fortress an ancient artifact that is said to be a powerful weapon which could end the Templar and Assassin war forever, and has hidden the keys in Constantinople. Ezio uses relics of the first civilization that hold memories of Altaïr to relive Altaïr's experiences, during which players will control Altaïr.
The game will also continue Desmond's story in the modern day, following the events of Brotherhood, where he will be trapped in the Animus, in comatose state, in which he has found a safe mode known as the Black Room. In the Black Room, Desmond must find a key memory that links him with Altaïr and Ezio to reintegrate his splintered subconscious and regain consciousness. While in game Ezio will meet a variety of historical characters, including Manuel Palaiologos, an heir to the now lost Byzantine Empire, Byzantine Templars who will be lurking in the shadows of Constantinople, Prince Suleiman (Suleiman the Magnificent), a man who will one day become one of the Ottoman Empire's greatest Sultans and his uncle, Prince Ahmet.
The game will follow the series' standard open-world gameplay. New gameplay additions include an item called the hookblade, which can be used to zipline across the city or grab enemies to yank them in for a combo attack. The hookblade reportedly speeds up navigation by around 30 percent. Along with the hookblade, Ezio will also have 300 different bomb variations at his disposal, which will be craftable.
Multiplayer gameplay is also making a return in Revelations. The mode expands the basics of online modes from Brotherhood with new characters and locations. Players will be able to customize their characters' appearance and weapons, as well as start a guild and create its unique coat of arms. Matchmaking and game interface will be improved. Ubisoft says that while the component is returning, they’re putting greater focus towards the narrative, as it’s the heart of the franchise. As players level up in the game, they will move up in their Abstergo Templar rank and gain access to more information about the company. New multiplayer modes will be added to the already existing modes, including "story-oriented quests". Some multiplayer maps will be based in the island of Rhodes.
In November 2010, Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot teased "something Assassin's related" in 2011, despite earlier statement by Ubisoft Montreal's Jean-Francois Boivin that no Assassin's Creed game will be released in 2011. Geoffroy Sardin of Ubisoft later confirmed that there will be a "big" Assassin's Creed game in 2011.Guillemot also explained that ultimate goal for Ubisoft is to release new games in the franchise annually along with other Ubisoft's most popular franchises. In February 2011, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that the next Assassin's Creed game would be released during its next fiscal year, which starts on April 1, 2011, and ends on March 31, 2012.
On April 29, 2011 the game's name was released on the official Assassin's Creed Facebook page, with a link which led to a flash file. The teaser clip included the words, "Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad, Son of no one" in Arabic which hints that Altaïr, the main protagonist of the first game, may once again be the main protagonist of the game. A third teaser clip for the game showed the city of Constantinople, which hints at it being the setting for the game. In the E3 rumor section of its April 2011 issue, Xbox World 360 said Assassin's Creed: Revelations' is not Assassin’s Creed III, but suggests that game is also secretly in the works. Assassin's Creed: Revelations is likely to be "another slimline Brotherhood-style offering", Xbox World 360 stated.[1 The game was unofficially unveiled on May 5, 2011 by Game Informer, and officially revealed at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2011.Ubisoft announced a PlayStation Network timed exclusive multiplayer beta for Assassin's Creed Revelations on August 10, 2011. From September 3–11, PlayStation Plus and Uplay members will get exclusive access to the beta on Playstation 3. No word on when it'll open up to non-members and Xbox 360 owners. The beta will offer access to nine characters (The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster, The Champion – all boasting different abilities), three maps (Knight's Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople) and four playable modes (the previously seen Wanted and Manhunt options joined by new Deathmatch and Artifact Assault variants). Additionally, Ubisoft has released an Assassin's Creed: Revelations Avatar collection Xbox 360, which includes a Codex prop, Desmond’s black hoodie, and an Eagle for a pet. There is also the following outfits available representing the following: Ezio, Bombardier, Guardian, Sentinel and Vanguard Outfit (female only). Those who pre-order through Best Buy will get an exclusive multiplayer character.

is an upcoming first-person shooter video game, currently being co-developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games with Raven Software assisting in development. It will be the third installment in the Modern Warfare series, and the eighth Call of Duty installment. Sledgehammer Games has announced the game to be the first entry in the Modern Warfare series to have built-in support for color-blind gamersLike its predecessors, Modern Warfare 3 is a first-person shooter video game. It will run at least at 60 frames per second Activision confirmed at Gamescom 2011, that Modern Warfare 3 on the PC will have dedicated servers support. The player assumes the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, changing perspectives throughout the progression of the story. Each level is a mission that features a series of objectives that are displayed on the heads up display, which marks the direction and distance towards and from such objectives. Damage to the player is shown by blood shown on the screen. The player's health regenerates as time passes. Tasks vary in their requirements, having the player arrive at a particular checkpoint, eliminate enemies in a specified location, stand their ground to defend an objective, or plant explosive charges on an enemy installation. The player will be accompanied by troops who cannot be issued orders.Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have revealed that Modern Warfare 3 will feature a new Survival Mode. Survival Mode features one to two players fighting endless waves of enemies with each wave getting more difficult. Despite being much compared to the World at War Nazi Zombies mode, enemies do not spawn at fixed locations like the zombies do, but instead, at tactical positions based on the current location of the player. The mode will be available on all multiplayer maps in the game and in the mode, players can earn "cash" for items such as weapons, upgrades and ammo.
Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have also recently revealed that they have revamped the entire killstreak reward system. They have stated that while Treyarch had slightly improved the system, it was not enough to make the system feel perfect. There are now 3 different "strike packages" for killstreaks called Assault, Support, and Specialist. The Assault strike package works the same as the default killstreak reward system in Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops offering killstreaks like the predator drone and helicopters. The Support strike package offers support-style rewards such as UAVs and SAM Turrets. Unlike previous games in the franchise, the Support strike package will not make the player's killstreak reward reset upon death, but instead, accumulate over the course of a match. The Specialist strike package rewards players with perks instead of killstreaks. After every eighth consecutive kill, the player will receive every perk in the game, but will reset back to none upon death.
Along with revamping the entire killstreak reward system, Modern Warfare 3 will also have a completely revamped ranking and unlocks system. Unlike Call of Duty: Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3 will not use a currency system. Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have also revealed that they are removing annoyances that make players rely less on skill and more on perks. To do this, they are removing certain perks that give players a power advantage over others who do not possess the same perk. 'Quick-scoping' has also returned, having been absent in Black Ops. Unlike Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3 will not feature dive to prone or "dolphin dive" due to various balancing issues. The teams have also revealed that to fix bugs and glitches, they will not use full updates but instead Treyarch's hot fix system to fix problems much quicker.
A new gamemode has also been added titled "Kill Confirmed." Kill Confirmed requires players to collect floating dog tags from the corpse of a downed enemy before the kill can be registered. However, the opposing team can pick up the dogtag aswell to deny the other team of a kill. Another gamemode has also been added titled "Team Defender". In Team Defender, each team must cap the opposing team's flag, and hold it to accumulate points. Private matches also now include pre-made gamemodes including "Infection" (where the infected kills enemies to recruit them to their team), "Drop Zone" (where you must hold a drop zone for points and care packages), "Team Juggernaut" (each team plays alongside an AI Juggernaut character), "Gun Game" (be the first to get one kill with every gun in the game) and "One In The Chamber" (in which players are only allowed one pistol with one bullet and three lives where they can only get more bullets by killing other players). Along with this, players are allowed to create there own gamemodes with there own customized rules such as amount of player and time limit.
The game will see the return of Task Force 141 Captain John "Soap" MacTavish (voiced by Kevin McKidd), former SAS Captain John Price (voiced by Billy Murray) and Russian informant Nikolai who are on the run after killing the rogue U.S. Army Lieutenant General Shepherd. Russian Ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov (voiced by Roman Varshavsky) will also reprise as the game's primary antagonist. Several new playable characters have been added, including Derek "Frost" Westbrook (voiced by Corey Stoll) and Sandman (voiced by Christopher Meloni), a pair of Delta Force operatives in New York City; Marcus Burns (voiced by Christian Coulson), a Sergeant in the Special Air Service fighting in London; and Yuri, a Russian federal security agent.Wallcroft (voiced by Craig Fairbrass) from Call of Duty 4 will also return in the game.
New non-playable characters that have been confirmed so far include Truck and Grunt (voiced by Troy Baker), who form part of the Delta Force fire team alongside Frost and Sandman. A Delta Force operative named Grinch was also announced (and will be voiced by Tobey Maguire). The game will immediately follow the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, where the Russian Federation continues its invasion of the United States of America, and has also expanded its offensive to Europe, including England, France and Germany.Campaign stages are also planned for Somalia, Sierra Leone, Moscow and Dubai. Gameplay videos from E3 2011 in Los Angeles showed Delta Force soldiers helping Navy Seal Teams force a Russian submarine to surface in the East River and boarding it to destroy the other boats in the harbor. Later on, Delta Force soldiers are on a mission to destroy a radar jamming installation on top of the New York Stock Exchange

Bodycount (video game)

Bodycount is a first-person shooter video game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is being published by Codemasters and developed by the Guildford Studio and is considered a spiritual successor to the game Black developed by the same team.
Story
Bodycount (video game)The story is about Jackson, a former American soldier recruited by an enigmatic organisation called "The Network", who has normally resolved conflicts between the States where even the UN could not. Over time, Jackson realises that wars are caused by some mysterious individuals. Concept art of the game revealed Jackson's appearance to be heavily based on actor Chris Pine.
Gameplay
The game will be set in first-person. One of the main features is environment destructibility; nearly everything in the game is expected to be destructible. Environments and most of everything in them will be destroyed realistically, creating a dynamically-changing playing environment. By scoring kills, the player can unlock deadly power-ups such as air strikes that further decimate the environment. There will be a unique cover system where the player will have near complete freedom while in cover. Multi-player will be a feature with Team Deathmatches being mentioned. Co-op will also be an available feature in the game.
